Meet the Professionals Who Can Help You Pursue Your Goal
Meet the Team
WG Financial Group is made up of qualified financial professionals who are passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their ideal retirements.
Cris Wallace, CFP®, ChFC®
Owner, President, and Financial Advisor
Rocket City Retirement Guy™
Cris Wallace is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. In addition to his passion for helping others realize their retirement goals, Cris is a student of the game and is equally as passionate about his education, as he also is registered as a Chartered Financial Consultant.
Since 2005, Cris has helped families and individuals create financial strategies for the days ahead. Cris became an IAR in 2011. He places a heavy emphasis on comprehensive financial and retirement planning. According to Cris, an IRA or 401(k) statement is not a financial plan — a true comprehensive financial and retirement plan covers more than just investments.
Prior to entering the financial planning industry, Cris spent 18 years in manufacturing, including six years as a plant manager in the automotive and consumer plastics industry. That experience enables him to relate to many hardworking families. What’s more, Cris is very driven and goal-oriented, and he is always striving to reduce costs and enhance the lives of others, while assisting clients with legacy planning and helping them use tax-efficient strategies.
Lastly, Cris is a family man. As a married father of three beautiful children, Cris enjoys spending time away from work doing fun things with his family – camping, kayaking, beach trips and bike rides with his wife, Jen. For his personal time, he enjoys reading about the industry, lifting weights and playing basketball. Both Cris and Jen enjoy spending time with their small group, helping out at their local church and supporting missions such as Food for the Hungry, CRU, Way-FM.
