As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional, Cris wants to help you maximize your savings and enjoy retirement.

“While I handle many areas of personal finance, I especially enjoy prepping people for retirement,” Cris says. “I love watching someone’s face light up when I tell them they can retire.”

Cris also spends a good deal of time helping families find ways to save on taxes. He focuses on comprehensive financial planning that looks at the entire picture, from income and investments to taxes, estate planning and more.

“When it comes to retirement planning, we want to do the heavy lifting for you,” Cris says. “Our motto is ‘Plan. Retire. Play.™’ We think you should plan well, so you can retire and go play.”

Before becoming a financial advisor in 2014, Cris worked for nearly 20 years in the automotive plastics industry. He has a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He earned the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant ® in 2016 and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®  professional in 2021.

“I tell my clients I don’t want to die the richest person in the graveyard,” Cris says. “I want to make memories with my family now, so that’s what I encourage them to do, too. Life is short.”

Married to Jen, Cris has three children, plus a Boston Terrier named Rosie and a Cane Corso named Nala. Cris enjoys spending time at the beach, taking his family out to eat, and hiking, biking and camping. A huge Minnesota Vikings fan, Cris also makes it a priority to lift weights and play basketball and softball whenever he can.

Jess Bost, CFP®, RICP® is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional and a Retirement Income Certified Professional® with a deep passion for helping people find clarity and confidence in their financial lives. With a background that spans competitive Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit coaching, and now over a decade in the financial services industry, Jess brings a unique mix of discipline, empathy, and strategic thinking to her work in financial planning.

As the Executive Assistant to Cris Wallace, Jess is focused on building systems that support excellent client care and team development. Whether supporting team members, connecting with clients, or creating solutions, she brings a high level of thoughtfulness and execution to everything she does.

A Georgia native, Jess has been married for over 20 years and is a proud mom to two daughters. Whether walking with her Australian Shepherds, lifting weights, or learning something new, Jess thrives on growth. Graham Bauer, CFP®, EA is a financial advisor and graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. As one of the youngest people to earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional designation at the time, Graham has been immersed in financial planning since shortly after high school. He also holds the Enrolled Agent (EA) credential, adding a key layer of tax planning knowledge to his comprehensive planning approach.

Raised in a self-employed family, Graham developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the financial challenges and rewards of running a business and serving customers. These early experiences shaped his approach to planning and his commitment to helping others gain clarity and confidence in their financial decisions.

Outside the office, Graham is an active member of his church and community. He’s a dedicated Tennessee Titans fan, a live music enthusiast, and enjoys hunting for vinyl and vintage finds at local sales. He and his wife also love spending time outdoors—whether hiking, camping, or paddleboarding together.

Outside of her professional life, Whitney is a loving spouse and proud mom of two. She cherishes her moments with her family, whether it’s enjoying a night in, exploring new travel destinations, or indulging in her favorite pastime—baking delicious treats to bring everyone together. A strong community advocate, Whitney actively volunteers at her local church, where she lends her time and talents to support outreach initiatives. Whether cheering for her favorite teams, or spending quality time with friends and family, she believes in the importance of balance, joy, and connection in life.

Christian Wallace

Retirement is an exciting time – and Christian is on a mission to help his clients make the most of it. He has a passion for the entire retirement planning process, from the first meeting and creating a plan to implementing strategies and adjusting them as life changes. Above all, he wants to make sure his clients can retire worry-free and experience joy in their later years.

Christian holds his life and health insurance licenses and has passed the Series 65 securities exam. As an advisor, he also draws on the skills he gained through his studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he pursued a bachelor’s in communications and a minor in business.

Christian credits his dad, Cris, and mom, Jen, with helping him become the man he is today. His family also includes his twin brother, Caleb, his younger sister, Ellery, and his two dogs: a Boston terrier named Rosie and a blue cane corso named Nala. Outside the office, Christian enjoys the outdoors and playing basketball. He also loves listening to music, especially rock, soul and rhythm and blues.

From a young age, Jacob was taught the importance of serving others. After earning his Mechanical Engineering degree, Jacob and his small family moved to The Rocket City. He soon realized he could put his passion for service to work by helping people get on the right track for retirement. With the support of his amazing wife, he made the leap into the financial advising world. Now he strives to help all his clients retire with comfort and confidence.

Jacob and his wife now have five children and are proud to call Alabama home. Their homestead currently consists of a garden and a flock of chickens that seems to grow by the day. They look forward to expanding “the farm” as they learn more.

Although not the athlete he was in his younger days, Jacob still enjoys weightlifting and mixed martial arts. However, most of his time outside the office is spent having quality time with his beautiful family. He also gives back to his community by volunteering for special needs organizations and coaching high school wrestling.

Jennifer Wallace

Jen Wallace is the office manager and event planning coordinator for WG Financial Group. She is a servant leader and enjoys building relationships with the community, as well as planning and hosting events. Her creativity and passion for connecting people make her a valuable member of the WG Financial team.

Jen’s background is in human resources management, and she spent several years as a human resources manager in the automotive manufacturing industry. She has a degree in business administration from Cedarville University.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, she moved to Huntsville in 2016 to attend the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she earned a degree in Marketing. She has called Huntsville home ever since, growing both her career and her family in the Rocket City.
